Additional proof -document in type set

Am I allowed to file additional proof documents in a writ appeal as the document was received only after the writ before the single judge was dismissed and proves the judge wrong. Or is it advisable to go for revision of the order and later the document will be automatically accepted before the bench. which is advisable to get justice in a good case. Please advise me.

Move appropriate application in writ appeal explaining the circumstances in which the document in question could not be placed earlier in the writ petition, is the better option.
