I have been fighting against ACB in a corruption case. The charges have been filed after a long gap more than a year and now,Along with the Charge sheet, they have furnished the list of witnesses and documents.
I am in the process of making my defense now.Since i am layman in criminal proceedings ,Kindly reply the following question.
1.Can ACB can come of with additional set of witnesses and documents in the course of the Trial?
2.How many witnesses will be examined/
crossed/reexamined normally daywise? And will be on day to day basis?.
Thanking you.

1. Generally the prosecution brings only those witnesses who are mentioned in the Charge sheet only.
2. It depends upon the court. In sessions triable cases , the examinations are made on day to day basis.

1. additional witnesses and documents than the mentioned in the final report cannot be brought against you in the given case.
2. There is no set formula in this regard as all this depends upon many factors.
