A case under sec.420 ipc against a firm.,Data related to business stored in computer hard disc.police seized computers and send to forensic lab. for decoding. report received by the court was during the trial.Prosecution wants time to study report but court refused as it will delay trial.Subsequently the accused prayed for adjournment and allowed by the court as it will cause prejudice the accused.Is it legally correct?

As the forensic expert send the report directly to court in this case the police can not ask for time to read it as whatever report is there is before the court and grnated adjournment to accused is the discretion and considering gravity of the petion.
