How do I insert my 2nd wife's name in place of my 1st wife's name as the mother of my adopted child?

Your adopted child's adoptive mother would be your ex-wife always. Your subsequent wife is the step mother of the child.

Where do you want it to be recorded? In educational record?
If yes, then submit the copy of adoption deed and get inserted the name of your wife as adoptive mother.

A couple married under special marriage act in Hyderabad. They r transfered to Bangalore and adopt a male child. After 2yrs couple transfered to Mumbai (husband’s domicile by birth) and get divorced in Mumbai by mutual consent. Adoptive mother renounces all claims and rights on child. Adoptive father has sole and permanant custody of adopted son. Now there is no contact between adoptive father and adoptive mother (1st wife). Thereafter adoptive father now settled in Mumbai remarries a girl from Indore. Marriage as per hindu rites in Indore.
Now, what is the status of the 2nd wife viz-aviz the adopted son who is now 5 yrs old? How do they make amendments in all documents regarding mother's name?
Is it possible to make amendments in the adoption deed?
