Affidavits given to court not part of decree of mutual consent

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 06 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
There are affidavits to a court in mutual consent divorce.
However the court passes only a decree " dissolving the marriage".
1)What is the status of affidavits filed but ,not mentioned n decree?
2)Are the affidavits binding on parties,
3)If a party does not comply with conditions in affidavit , but not a part of decree,, will it amount to contempt of court?

Jitendar Kumar gupta (Expert) 06 June 2011
Yes they are binding on both the parties. and if any party contravene the terms then the other party can take action .
