Agriculture land use for non-agriculture purpose

Hi,

I have 3 bigha acriculture/farm land in Indore(Madhaya Predesh). I want to know if i can use it for business like Marriage Garden or i have to convert it for non-agriculture use, if i have to convert it then can some one tell me the procedure.

dear author,
apply to the divisional officer of Revenue/ the commissioner of corporation to issue permission to conversion of the land into Non-agricultural by paying necessary fees and after getting permission from the authorities, you can do business either for marriage garden or plots etc.

You may enquire the details from the District commissioner (Lands) within your jurisdictions and get the details and other formalities in this regard to proceed as proposed.

Consult the revenue authorities of the area. You have to apply for conversion by paying prescribed fee to the revenue authorities.
