(Querist) 18 November 2013 This query is : Resolved
There is an ancestral house in name of my father in a village. That house got damaged due to non maintenance and heavy rain as there is no one living in there. My father is a retd. Govt. servant and was not able to stay at this house with job constaraints. One of our neighbourer has illegaly constructed a wall in our side and have covered this, without informing us. Now he is refusing to change the location of the wall from our side to his side. What can be the possible solution of the problem. He is openly challenging us to anywhere but not to change location of the wall. Please help.

file a civil suit against him from removal of the wall. Better to consult a local lawyer in this regard.

If your father is an old person and can not attend the property / court frequently you may sell the house to some strong person who can respond to his threats.

If you want to adopt legal path issue legal notice and contact a local lawyer to file a suit. The decision may come in 2-3 years or may take more time.
