Ancestral property

(Querist) 22 March 2017 This query is : Resolved
Can my father having registry on his name for ancestral property say to one of his son to leave the house
Or can son claim from property when father alive
Guest (Expert) 22 March 2017
Once inherited and registered in the name of any person as per the provisions of law, the status of ancestral property vanishes.

The father can dispose of the property in any manner he wants without entertaining any claim by his family members.

How are you concerned?

After registration in the name of father, property is of self acquired status.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 23 March 2017
Father ( Parent) can ask the children to vacate the house/property, if child(ren) are say; abusive.
