Hi my father wants to get his share culled out from ancestral property in which he has 1/3rd share. He wants to file a partition suit and wants the decision as early as possible. He would be filing for suit in Delhi. The other owners are not interested in selling the property. How long does it normally takes to get result for ancestral property share in similar cases in delhi? and whats the fastest way?

There is no fastest way for civil suit unless the same gets amicably settled.
It would take not less 2-3 years.

It is time consuming. Why he is in urgency?? Why he is not selling his part to any third party, pending partition?? if he need money urgently??
