Any delay charges for builder in delay in handing over of commercial property

1. BOOKED A SHOP IN A MALL IN 2005.
2. PAID 60% OF AMOUNT BY2006.
3. BUILDER WAS SUPPOSE TO HAND OVER THE SHOP IN 2007.
4. HANDING OVER IN JAN 2013.
5.REQUST ADVISE.

read agreement signed with builder . does contract prvoide for payment of innterest for delayed posession . is he paying interest

u can claim damages for delay.

If delay due to negligence , and contract/Agreement shows a date of possession, Consumer forum will direct builder to compensate you for delay.
