Ap minor minerals concession rules 1966

Sir one of my Corporate client received a notice under subject cited act for payment of
Seigniorage Fee for excavation / pocurement of related minerals during construction activity in the year 2009. My client has been served a showcause notice date september 2010 on 4.1.2012. My querry is that is the subject matter barred by limitation act?

Such notice can be issued for the un-numbered period if the department is of the opinion to issue it on the basis of facts available in any submitted document or on the lapse on any ground.

No the Limitation Act does not cover the point in issue in your case.
