Assignment deed copy under rti

Dear sir,
My loan while NPA and in DRT has been assigned to JM financial under SARFAESI act Do I have the right to get a copy of the assignment deed. The JM financial has refused to give it. Bank has not responded. I have also applied under RTI.What is the law regarding this? how to get a copy?

The document must have been submitted to DRT, take copy from there.

if after filing RTI application the bank is not ready to provide copy of required documents within 30 days of RTI then file an appeal before appellate authority.

Thanks esq gentleman. I saw two cases on the net where the institutions have refused to give the document under the clause 8(1) 8(d) of RTI act and the court has ruled in favour of the institution. However we are trying to get it from the bank thru RTI and also through DRT. Our loan collateral is an agricultural land. Inspite of that the bank has assigned the deed under safaseai act.
