Associated Member of CHS ltd

Sir my father and mother are jointly share holder of the Flat of CHS. Now due to his health problem he doesn't attend meetings of the society and the same suitation is with my mother. I m the only son of the family.
Now my questions are,

1. Can I become the Associate Member?
2. Can I have right to vote or can I become secretary or chairman and run the society?

Bye laws of the society need to be referred. Generally associate member can not seek election for chairman / secretary.

No i am not a nomiee member and I have only one sister not married.Sir then which is the best way to become member? So tht I can attend meetings and vote.
