Attaching bank account for alimony

I got Rs 35000/- as court order My husband pays me Rs 20000/- or sometimes even less than that. I filed execution case against it. My husband filed criminal Revision case against it
I told my lawyer to attach his bank account of salary with my account so that he cannot avoid it.Now, my lawyer is telling that he will require 1 year to apply for attachment of salary account.My husband is a bank manager with Canara Bank. He is a government employee.I don't know how to fight against him. I have a child who is studying in school. Kindly help me.I am in trouble.

If you don't find any other option for recovering the monthly maintenance amount then you may file a collection petition before the same court giving the details with a request to attach his salary through his employer.
But please note that during the pendency of the crimninal revision petition, the trial court may not entertain your petition, you may have to wait for the decision of the high court in the revision petition.
