i want to know whether my husband can get a loan from a nationalised bank for a property that is registered in both our names.i am non working.

bank will look into the extent of share ur husband is owning and they will certainly look for consent from you.

contact bank for this purpose. We have not to advance loan rather it is the bank which has to get compliance of its own rules and viability of the party seeking loan.

The Bank may consider both of you as Joint Borrowers ,Joint Owners and Joint Mortgagors -loan can be advanced on the repaymen capacity of the Husband/Employee -
