I need to know the contents of Para C 9 Of the Banking Ombudsman Handbook. Hope someone will have it readily available. Please share.

Specify your problem with proper background of the case for aking the contents of the requisite para. There is no such para in Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006. However, if some banking ombudsman has its own Banking Ombudsman Handbook, you may be required to specify the concerned Banking Ombudsman.

9. In the principal scheme, clause (6) of sub paragraph (1) of paragraph 12, the following shall be substituted -

" 6) In the case of complaints, arising out of credit card operations, the Banking Ombudsman may also award compensation not exceeding Rs 1 lakh to the complainant, taking into account the loss of the complainant's time, expenses incurred by the complainant, harassment and mental anguish suffered by the complainant."

BUT MY PERSONAL OPINION: "Banking Ombudsman" NOT EFFECTIVE AND USELESS....
