my father was non himachali and my mother is from himachal.we are residing in himachal since 1992,
my schooling was from punjab and graduation from himachal,BUT RESIDING IN HIMACHAL SINCE MY BIRTH ON BORDER AREA
#I AM FACING DIFFICULTY TO GET BONAFIDE HIMACHALI.
# PATWARI IS SAYING THAT 25 YRS IS ESSENTIAL CONDITION FOR BONAFIDE HIMACHALI IAM RESIDING IN HIMACHAL SINCE MY BIRTH ON BORDER AREA IN H.P MY AGE IS 26YRS AND WHEN I TRY TO GET JOBS IN H.P THEY ASK FOR BONAFIDE CCERTIFICATE AND DUE TO UNAVAILABLITY OF IT I CANT GET JOBS IN H.P
#####NOW QUESTION IS THAT WHETHER THERE IS ANY ALTERNATIVE OF IT OR ANY RULE TO GET BONAFIDE ON THE BASIS THAT I AM RESING IN H.P

yes, u can apply to the concerned SDM(SUB-DIVISON MAGISTRATE) TO ISSUE A BONAFIDE CERTIFICATE IN UR FAVOUR.

Dear Nitin,
In one part of the querry you have said that you are residing in H.P. since 1992 while further you stated as living since birth.
If you are not fulfilling the essential conditions for Bonafide Himachali, you can't get the certificate.
Certificate for Bonafide Himachali:-
Who is eligible for applying for the Bonafide Himachali Certificate in Himachal Pradesh:--
1)A Bonafide Himachali is a person who has permanent home in Himachal Pradesh or includes a person who has been residing in Himachal Pradesh for a period not less than 25 years or a person who has permanent home in Himachal Pradesh but on account of his occupation he is living outside Himachal Pradesh.
2)The female residents of places outside Himachal Pradesh, when married to (persons entitled to) the grant of bonafide certificates of Himachal Pradesh, shall be eligible for the issue of such certificates. Whereas female residents of Himachal Pradesh, when married to persons having their permanent home outside the Himachal Pradesh, shall be ineligible for the issue of such certificates
