Sir, Is it necessary to enclose the urban land under municipal limits with boundary wall? Is boundary wall a proof of possession? What if boundary wall removed by neighbor, in absence of the owner of the land some year back and owner did not reported anywhere? Thanks.

It is not necessary to enclose urban land within municipal limits with boundary wall. No legal provision makes it mandatory.
Only boundary wall is not proof of possession and any vacant land without boundary wall can be possessed.
Mere removal of boundary wall by the neighbour without legal action by the owner does not have any effect on the legal rights of the owner in case the owner has sufficient title document and other proof of possession and the land is in fact possessed by him.

Thanks for prompt accurate and convincing reply. Can the land again be demarcated as per the Title deed from civil court, if revenue authority unnecessary lingers for some graft?
