complaint to FIR

Dear Experts,
if we submitt a complaint to police at local PS,
a)how we can take acknowledgment of that complaint.
b)what is time limit for framing charges as FIR.
c)In case acknowledment is not given by police,what steps we have to take? please clarify.

dogs in the flat

this is in pune;maharashtra;-----we have 15 flat-owners in the bldg.society not formed/registered.one of the flat is occupied by subletee who is having 4 dogs in their flat.for last 6-7 days they have locked the dogs & have gone outstation.the dogs are shouting/crying may be due to starvation &dehydration;which we are suffering .the flat owner says that the occupent is a tress-passer &permitting us to take suitable action within law. what are the options available to us ? kindly guide!

Workmen compentation Act 1923

Please tell me in a case a person who is a truck driver who was not holding any driving license met with an accident in which he got injuries, My query is that weather he is entitled for any sort of compensation under the provisions of WC Act 1923. It will be grateful if also provided with the case law.
