Every citizen is watching the political affairs of Karnataka. This is not the first time such episodes where legislators resort to bargain in an off-site location making fool of the electorate. Is our Constitution silent to intervene and are there not any laws on the land for the apex court or any legislation to take suo moto action to restore faith in our democracy? What is the role of Governor and President of this country to tackle such situations within the framework of Indian Constitution. Else, are the laws itself silent in this perspective. Experts to participate.
One of the objectives of Arms Act 1959 states that "weapons for SELF DEFENSE are available for ALL CITIZENS under license UNLESS their antecedents or propensities do not entitle them for the privilege"
Self defense is guaranteed under Article 21 and license is sought for self defence. If licensing authourity is causing unreasonable delay for grant of license to a law abiding citizen, can it be argued in High Court on grounds of above objective of Arms Act that arms license is deemed to be GRANTED/VESTED/ IMPLIED if licensing authourity is causing unreasonable delay as applicant cannot stay indefinitely under position of incapacity to fully implement his constitutionally guaranteed right.
It is said that Constitution is fountain of all rights, powers & laws. From which Article of Constitution does the State derive its rights to arm its armed forces, paramilitary and police? Is it from Article 21 which has the Right to Self Defense and Right to Keep and Bear Arms embedded in it?

Please provide clarification that " Can an independent candidate is eligible for use the symbol allotted for registered but Un recognized Parties in the case were they have no candidate in that ward" for local self body elections??????
Article 20, clause 3 of the Indian constitution states that "No person accused of any offence shall be compelled to be a witness against himself."
Is the requirement of self declaration of not involved in any crime etc. on various application forms of various organizations violation of Article 20(3). If a person does not make a declaration he cannot proceed to get benefits etc., if he makes a declaration, the same declaration can be used against him i.e. his statements will be made witness against him.
A prestigious laboratory funded by Govt of India was reporting on crime scene samples on the false grounds that it can receive crime scene material for giving an opinion. Evidence on several sensational cases have been reported from this Laboratory. Now it is clearly admitted by that said laboratory under RTI, that it does not have any approval, authority or permission from Govt of India to carry out examination and report on crime scene samples and it was doing it since the Police and Courts were forwarding the crime scene samples.. So my question is what will be fate of the 1000s of reports issued by this laboratory and will it be treated as Evidence.
