Dowry harrasement

my daughter is married in 2012. at the time of marriage they make it clear that there will be no dowry at all but they asked the special care of baraties with chicken, mutton fish wishky etc and we happily done that. after marriage when my daughter entered in here laws house she was surprised to note that no any after marriage ceremonies were performed by her inlaws. she did not mind it another surprising was they did not offered any cloths to put on and she used her own cloths which were given to her by us. but did not mind it at all. at the time of ring ceramony it was deceded by both the families that girl will countinue her job (she is working class-I officer in Govt. Job)
after the marriage physically and mentally tourture of my daughter was started by her husband and supported by his parents. they never came to meet her wife where she is working every time my daughter went to her husband. my daughter husband frequently asked her money and my daughter transferred the amount on line every time he asked to re-charge his mobile and my daughter asked her husband to come to meet her and she was surprised to hear that he will not come to her and this was also supported by her parents also.in the last oct.2014 shen my daughter went tomeet her husband he clearly says that he will going to leave her and asked her to leave my house. my daughter came to us in very dipressed manner and now she told us that while on the way she was thinking about succide. we take the case with the parrents of my son-inlaw and meeting at their residence and they assured us for reasonable solution. but in the august this year they clearly repeat the wording of their son that they will not keep my daughter. please advise me to wqhat to do. should we go for 498A

Objection on lift installation

Dear Team

We are a building of 4 floors(Ground +4) with total of 20 members with 4 members on each floor. Age of our society as of today is 16 years. We pay a Maintenance of around700rs

Our Builder initially had plan to build 7floor building but since he could not get a necessary approval from authorities he settled on 4 floor.

While doing so he had made a provision of lift(Duct)(space for installing lift) in our building with no lift and he had sealed the open gaps with bricks on each floor. So now to install new lift all we just have to break walls on each floor

Now the issue is 12 members of out of 20 have agreed to install a new lift by asking a contribution of around 50 thousand per Flat.

8 members have strictly objected for installation (Ground and First floor). I am myself in this 8 members. Our Reason for objection is since lift duct was created by builder for 7 floors Contribution for buying new lift installing and maintaining Should not be laid on only20 members as cost per member increases.

Many of this 8 members are not so financially well off and also could not afford to increase Maintenance charges. Our objection is purely on Financially and on basis that since building did not have a lift for 16 years why now.

Since people in favor of Buying lift are more they are planning to pass resolution in Managing committee meeting and are going ahead by levying the same in monthly Bills. They are also ready to take 50000 rs in installments. There are several expenses like structural audit other then new lift cost which we think is not necessary since buiding is still deprived of basic things like cleanliness proper parking area water etc.

My question to you is now is there any way we 8 members can stop process of buying new lift or can we stop paying charges levied in monthly maintenance for buying new lift. Is there any legal solution for this.

matter of maintainance affecting my life

Thank you very much for all honourable experts for answering my query. I would be grateful to you if you clarify the following:
As a learned man, I am ready to support my child but not for the wife since she is richer than me. Also she may get a family share of property since her parents have two daughters only. I dont have any property and earning this amount only for the last two years. Before that, my income was only Rs10000 p.m.(As I mentioned earlier, my present salary is Rs 60000 p.m and she claims she is getting only Rs 10000 p.m as a fee for consultation .She is a C>A and I know she is getting a salary of nearly Rs50000 p.m. which I could not have any evidence for it with me)
My job is purely private in teaching profession and in future, the institution may send me out or I may resign and join in another institue with a different salary. If the employers get more candidates, they may bargain for a less salary. Will this type of uncertainity or fluctuations in the job be taken into account during proceedings or will the maintainance order will be based on the present salary only? Is there any maximum litation of maintainance amount to be paid in India? Please help me to move accordingly.
