Calculation of limitation periof for filing receovery suit

Dear members kindly advice on below query.

not very well aware with civil suit hence need assistance.

company inadvertently paid double salary to its employee on 28/04/2013.

company send recovery notice on 06/01/2014.

which date we will consider to calculate limitation period for filing recovery suit and what is the limitation period for filing suit??

The limitation starts from 28/4/2013.
