In petitioon for mutual consent doivorce can a family./civil court decide on chils custody( permananet).
Or the mateer will be dealt under Hindu Minority & Guardianship ACT

if the parties agree regarding the custody of child then the family court can decide the matter.

Yes during the hearing of divorce pet. family court of other competent court may pass such interim orders time to time or may pass decree as to custody of child.

The provisions pertaining this issue contained in sec 26 of Hindu marriage act..

The provisions are in Hindu marriage act sec 26. And matter could be decided along with mutual consent petition for divorce as well.
