Can accused inspect the court file of jmic court?

We are accused in 498-A case and wants to know about the documents placed by the prosecution in case file.Please inform whether accused in person can inspect the court file? What procedure accused has to follow for inspection of records?

we are from outstation( as 498-A case is filed at very remote area) and we carry advocate on each and every date of hearing..but during some last sessions, he has not been accompanying us
please inform whether party in person/accused in perosn can be denied in accessing the records if he is not accompany by advocate? if yes, under which rules the court can deny us?
If Ld Magistrate deny us to inspect the records, can we challenge it beefore the court of session??
