Can i buy agricultural land in karnataka

Hello Sir,
Kindly advice me, Iam based in Karnataka & my salary income is more than 2 Lacs/year for the last 5 years. None of my family members are agriculturist nor farmers. As iam interested in buying an agricultural land,( for which iam not eligible in Karnataka), Can i buy agricultural land in Kerala and get RTC or 7/12 extract in my name. And with the help of this form Will I be able to buy Agricultural land in Karnataka.
I want to be Legally safe. Hence can i buy land in kerala First, then in Karnataka.
Kindly advice.

Land laws are different in different states. You cannot do so.

BUT I don't agree with the advice of some of the experts.
If you purchase agricultural land in either of the States wherein there is no compulsion to be an agriculturist for the purchase then definitely on that basis, you can purchase the agricultural land in Karnatka. Some of such states are like Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand etc.

Could you please tell me, whether there is any compulsion in Kerala to buy a Agricultural Land. ( As par as my knowledge goes there is no compulsion in kerala and any indian citizen can buy agricultural land there.)
