Can i file a police complaint after sending a legal notice?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 26 March 2019 This query is : Resolved
I need to send a legal notice to my employer for forced resignation. Can i send a legal notice first and then can i file an FIR with the local police or how is it?

I was coaxed to resign by my superiors. They claim my performance is not good. I have been in the system only for 15 months. My performance is more or less same as the performance of my teammate of 4 years vintage. Superiors detained me in a room and threatened me of immediate termination if i don't put in my papers. I belong to SC-ST. I believe this is an atrocity/discrimination at workplace case. Can i file an FIR for the same after sending a legal notice or how to go about it?

What is your compliant for lodging FIR?
Who and why an employer has compelled you for resignation?

If you have reasonable grounds to attract criminal offence against the other party, then you can file police complaint against him. And if the police refuses to file the complaint or to register the offence, then you can directly file a private complaint at the magistrate court.

So can i file a police complaint after sending a legal notice? A simple yes or no would help a lot.

If such an offence had happened you should have filed the FIR immediately. A delayed FIR has its own drawbacks.
