I am practising of law at Tasil Level as an independent advocate . I want to join the course of Company Secretary though I have no accounting knowledge /background.I am 41 years old . Will it be benefical for me to qualify & switchover job field at my age.

A law degree itself is sufficient to get into corporate sector. But having CS certainly would add advantage to it.

Most of the corporates look for only young law graduates passed out through reputed law schools and law graduates above the age of 35 or 40 are considered only if they have corporate legal experience. I think you do not have corporate exposure.

But make your try. Best of luck.

You ae the best person to decide about yourself. We can generally say that earning maximum qualification is not bad and is beneficial but to make change from one established sector to another cannot be said always beneficial. You have to opt now.
