I am 21 years hold, my father last month sold a flat without my permission and signature.
Now can I challenge for illegal sale of flat and shall I ask for my share

If the property is self acruired by your father & wholly owned by your father you cannot challege the sale. If the property is ancestral...you can challege.

IN CASE THE SAID FLAT IS PURCHASED FROM INCOME OF FATHER THEN HE CAN SELL THE SAME BUT IN CASE THE SAID FLAT IS ANCESTRAL PROPERTY PURCHASED BY YOUR GRAND FATHER OR MOTHER OR ANY OTHER SOURCE AND THEN IT IS TRANSFERED IN THE NAME OF YOUR FATHER THEN YOU ALSO HAVE SHARE IN THE SAID PROPERTY AND CAN FILE A CIVIL SUIT IN THE CIVIL COURT AND CHALLENGE THE SAID ILLEGAL SALEDEED AND CLAIM YOUR SHARE.GOOD LUCK.

I agree with experts. if the property is self acquired, the father has absolute right and if it is ancestral it can be challenged.
