Can registeration of cite plan of religious places not necessary in punjab

Will you pls guide me whether registration of cite plan of religous places such as Mosque/Gurdawara/Mandir not necessary in Punjab under punjab Muncipal Act

Site plan is not registered rather approved. It is equally mandatory in Punjab to obtain approval from local municipality as per Punjab Municipal Act.

Construction plans are always required to be approved in urban areas in particular.
