A compromise decree cannot be cancelled. It is binding on both the parties. Cancellation will lead to multiplicity of suits

a compromise may not be cancelled under S. 31 of SRA, but if such an agreement contravenes the provisions of law then it can be held void.

if any of the parties to the compromise withdraws from a valid compromise then the same can be sued with a new cause of action.
