Cancellation of power of attorney

sir,
There were 4 persons who gave power of attorney to Mr.A somewhere in 2002.Now they
made a public announcement in news paper for cancellation of the same power of attorney ,in this there are only three persons have singned the notice.The fourth person has not signed the notice.
My question is in this cituation whether the notice will be trated as legal or illigal.

First you have to clarify whether the power of attorney granted by you to Mr. A was registered or not?
The POA relates to what type of transaction?

THE POA WAS REGISTER AND IRRIVOCABLE AND IT WAS GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY.
IS IT TRUE THAT A REGISTERED POA SHOULD BE CANCELLED ONLY BY THE WAY OF REGISTRATION
OF CANCELLATION.

The power of attorney was registered and was irrivocable. Is it true that if a person gives a registered power attoney to some person then at the time of canceelation of the same the cancellation should also be registerd.

It is true that a registered POA should be revoked by a registered deed only.

Therefore, you have to register the cancellation of POA in the Sub-Registrar's office and then communicate such cancellation through Registered Post to the person to whom you had originally granted the POA. You have to keep the documents - like the registered post receipt and the communication through which you intimated him. Also, in case you do not receive back the registered letter undelivered, better write a letter to the post office concerned and obtain a certificate of delivery of the registered letter to the Addressee.

Publish in News Papers ur regd POA cancellation, warning gen Public . not to act on basis of POA, as it is cancelled.
