Cancellation report

Police submitted cancellation report to court and same was accepted by court without any notice to complainaint. What remedy left with complainant. Can approach higher court against the cancellation report. Please advise urgently.

In general the Court could accept the Report and take Cognizance of the Offence and issue the Process .You should discuss with an Local Advocate and seek the Remedy in Concerned High Court.

" Protest Petition " is an Opportunity granted for the Victim to raise objections against the Conclusions commonly when the Police files an Final Report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973
