Car kept forcibly

i was doing construction work civil.the owner
was fighting always.
i left the work.
my shuttering,materials was there.
he called me to final the account.
on reaching there he called 5,6 persons and took out tires of my car.
then he didnot listend to me and said that according to him the work done was only for 18 lacs and he has paid 21 lacs and return 3 lacs and than take your car and forcibly on a plain paper they asked me to write the same.
after that i went to the police and made a complaint.
but the police is not doing any thing as i think he has bribed
he has also filed a suit to take stay on car,please advice me what shall i do now

file complaint before magistrate for investigation under section 156 (3)as cops are not investigating .

engage a local lawyer and defend the civil suit

Solution provided by Shri Sethi is the only legal solution for the reported problem.

These are multiple Offences.

You shall have to rebut the civil suit filed against you with the help of your lawyer and should get its sapurdari. Forcible snatching of car with the help of 5-6 persons is a decoity and this is very serious offence. You should lodge a criminal complaint before the concerned magistrate and meanwhile also represent to the higher police officials.
