I am having a flat in mangalore with car parking facility at the basement
The Bldg was constructed in 1995 but due to lack of space there has been no proper access to go to the basement which was the builders mistake.
we have 1/28th right in the bldg.
now the owners says if we need car parking at the basement we have to pay him extra charge
i want to know whether it is lawful to ask him for such a charre as the bldg was with car parking faciltiy at the basement

As you have legal right to have a car parking since the very first day so there is no need to pay any extra amount to the builder or the society on this account.

Is it a Co-op Society Building??
Is there a Car Parking mentioned in Agreement??

If both ans r Yes, you need not pay anything further for car parking
If ans is NO, of any one Q, u r bound to pay.
