Hi sir,
I had contacted with some corporates for filing income tax returns of there employees.
for that purpose i had engaged a Chartered Accountant for filing returns and payment was made to him in cash.
Suddenly his demand got arise and the documents pertaining to client was lien by him and denying to return the same.
I want to complain against him. Even as per the norms of ICAI, CA cannot retain documents of any client for without any substantial reason.
The only problem is the amount paid by me is in cash and agreement was also on verbal basis. However i have some mails communication in support of that.
even if you count share ur mo. no. with me so that i can explain to you over the phone. or suggest any good lawyer in pune.

first send legal notice to CA to return the
documents to you.
search google for pune lawyer.

In the given case, first of make a written complaint directly to him followed with legal notice through a lawyer with a copy to ICAI and then a civil as well as a criminal case against that CA. The mails are sufficient evidence,
