My lawyer says the case is coming up for examination.

1) What does it imply?
2) I am not in a position to appear, is it mandatory for appearance?

I suppose you have paid fee to your lawyer.
We know the answers but he can explain better.
If your lawyer is too busy to explain to you, please hair one more younger advocate.

With due respect sir, if my lawyer had explained I wouldn't have bothered the experts here. I consider this a forum where someone helpless can ask experts for their valued opinion. Just needed to clarify what it meant.

As a client you are never helpless to ask your counsel.....
It takes just a phone call or a small visit to find out per details of the case that is fully known to the counsel...
