Caste Certificate issue

One of my friends family migrated from Orissa - (Sunabeda)to Andhra Pradesh (Vizianagaram ) 18 years ago. In orissa their caste was ST (Kondhu)but after their migration to AP they were certified as Kapu by AP MRO. In this regard, how they can get their original Caste Certificate as ST.

there is a schedule of caste fall within the reserve category. you make application to the block officer mentioning your caste KONDHU with attachment of caste certificate issued by official of Orissa Government. Many of the tribes lives in particular state hence such problem arise. you also seek information under RTI about your caste from block level officer of AP.

Dear Jagadish,
If your friend or his father had got any Caste certificate issued by the Orissa Govt., produce the same before the MRO(AP) along with the ST list of orissa indicating the Sl.31(KONDH). Secondly if your friend have ROR(Patta) of any landed property of orissa, where in his caste is clearly mentioned on the face of that Patta and basing the same you can claim that he is of Particular caste and that caste has been emobodied in the presidential list and you can claim for ST status certificate.

Dear Jagadish,
Your friend can got caste certificate from his father who had. and if they have orginal patta land on that clearly the caste will mentioned.
Based on the abve they can approach the concerned revenue authorities and claim the
certificate of Schedule Tribe.
