Respected All,
One of my friend grandfather setteled in orissa as he belongs to Kondhu ST caste, because of studies my friends father migrated to Andhra Pradesh. In Andhra Pradesh my friend father and for my friend also enrolled in their school records, their caste as "Turpu Kapu". The have been trying to obtrain their fore father certificate as ST. Whereas they do not know how to approach. Is it really they can obtain their ST certificate from Orissa, as their fore fathers are from Orissa and they are belongs to ST.

Some caste in some state will be in the list of schedule caste/tribe but it may not appear in the list of the neighboring state, so clarify from the revenue department and then go for spending to obtain one.

Thanks for your valuable suggestions, basing on which I advised to my friend to apply for ROR Document, he got ROR on his grand father name and caste also mentioned as Kondhu (ST) on date also mention 21.10.1958. Now can he approach MRO at Sunabeda Tehsil, Orissa? If MRO asks him for the following what answer he should present.
1. You are at present having OBC certificate, which was issued by Saluru, Tehsil, AP Govt. Then why are you approaching for ST now?
