Hi,
My name is swaroop and I belong to bc-d and my age is 20 years by this august.
I want to convert from bc-d(koppula velama) to oc(chowdary). My mother is oc but my father is bc-d. I want my certificate as chowdary.
Can I get it?
Is it possible?
Is there anyway????
Please help me with this....

You carry father's caste status for entire life. You are free not to avail reservation benefit and free not to apply for caste certificate.

Dear Mr. Swaroop,
Subject related to "Caste" cannot change by any means/ways because "Caste" got by birth, Caste is a birth right of Individual from the father's family.
but interesting matter is related to "Caste" cannot change but subject related to "Religion" you can chage,if you want.

You have no choice to take birth in a particular caste. Your father's caste is vested on you. What is your purpose?

If caste conversion is allowed, the entire purpose of it's reservation and Govt Policy affects. The purpose will be defeated.
It is high time that ALL BE CONSIDERED EQUAL FOR ALL PURPOSE, AS OUR NATION IS OVER 60 YEARS OLD.
ONLY CHILD CAN BE SUPPORTED, NOT ONE OF AS OLD AS 60, A SR. CITIZEN NOW.

Members of this forum will never advise you to get fraudulent certificate.
Legally there is no way. Whether you like it or not.

Exactly......Legally there is no way...eventhough if you want to change your caste by other means, It is not advisable.
