I have been denied information because of third party clause. What next? to get the desired info..do not tell me go for appeal

Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 25 February 2023
Sanctioned map cannotbe termed as therid party as the sanction is accorded by Public body.

However, before invoking clause of third party, there was a need to :-

1. issue notice to second party.
2. reply of the second party to be made available to you for challenge of the reply.

Sudhir kumar advacate
The PIO has done all what you have mentioned .sent notice and got areply on that basis i was denied info.the copy of answer to the notice is in possesion .. The big question what next????
kavksatyanarayana (Expert) 25 February 2023
What next is an appeal.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 26 February 2023
SPIO / PIO cannot deny information to the LR of deceased father, if the applicant has mentioned.
If the applicant could not get (or denied u/s 8 of the RTI Act, 2005) the applicant should move an appeal before First Appellate Authority u/s 19 of the Right to Information Act, 2005
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 26 February 2023
appeal within one month of denial is the only option .
shyam lal (Querist) 26 February 2023
Dr Vashita expert.your reply is very much appreciated .its the right way to guide a layman ..and not by just replying as most experts suggests .go and appeal..
