Change in address of an unregistered partnership firm

(Querist) 22 June 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hi Please guide me for the procedure to be followed when there is a change in address of a partnership firm which has yet not been registered.

Whether i should go for new deed or on additional deed mentioning the new address or get it registred first and then simply go for notice and filing in Form 2.

Sir please seeking your guidance.

When you have not even registered the partnership firm, where is the question of following any formalities/procedures?

If you are going to register, then register in the correct address, one need not trace the history of the partnership and its various previous addresses.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 26 June 2014
I agree, when you have not registered the firm the question of address or change does not arise. First decide about all the necessary requirements and then go for registration.
Madhavi Dave (Querist) 26 June 2014
Agree so i have to just re draft the deed mentioning the clause therein about change of address and is the sole reason of redrafting the deed
