change of inquiry officer

Respected sir my bhabhi filed a false 498a 406 against my brother and father my father is on regular bail and my brother is in abroad .my question is that the inquiry officer will same person in whole case or it may change by police.in any stage of case.two yrs has been passed but no challen produced by police please guide us

Enquiry officer can be changed on his transfer to some other police station. It shall be better for your brother to face the court proceeding and get the bail so that the case may i=finally be disposed off.

Jurisdictional Officer, not the person in particular, matters in any case. On transfer any time out of the jurisdiction of the police station, the person assigned with the job cannot continue to be the inquiry.
