Hello Sir,
Need your help to get my dobts clarification on Change of name certificate issue by State Govt of Karnataka.
I recived declaration certificate for change of name of my wife after marrige, but doubt is. is it correct declartion certifiacate or shall i apply this for her career job concerned whithout any confusing in future while submiiting.

Sub:Procedure to be adopted for publication of change of names of persons who are not in karntaka state government service.
Ref:As per karnataka govt. press manual para no.313.

govt. in their order no. GAD 1 DCN 66 dated 8th march 1967, have laid down the procedure for the change of names only in respect of karnataka state govt. servants. Those persons who are not in karnataka state govt. service have to seek their own legal advice as to the procedure which they should follow.

If name change certificate received and working in Karnataka Government service than what is the problem. If not follow extract of notification.

Thank you very much for your kind reply.
my pointing is, i have observed in one of the documnet in that they mentioned from old name to new name, but in Gazette notification format nothing like that and said,
To name
Adress.
this problem i had faced in one of that canara bank and they saying this is not correct document, in which they not mentioned that from old name to new name
so my query is it acceptable format?

in other words it is you case only new name is mentioned . . it does not mention that your old name has changed to new name . it should contain both particulars

The format of document what you have produced herein above is not the correct one. The publication will not be in this way. It has to be drafted as per the format available for the specific purpose. Contact a prudent advocate on this issue and get the things done up properly and legally.

Using this Cercular, shall we make change of name in all Educational certificates (in Karanataka Govt) or any other steps have to take from end?
