Change of reservation category

Sir I would like to know whether a central govt employee can change his reserved category from general to pwd after joining if he has not opted pwd category while appointment selected in gen category. However he is pwd. Thanks

Without caste certificate he can not do so.
Even if he change the caste the benefits may not be available as he did not avail; the same in the very beginning.
