charitable trust income and expenditure through RTI

sir,

i want to know "whether under RTI act can we know the income & expenditure of a charitable trust or trust which is running some institutions and hospitals. also how can we ask them about actually their trust is charitable or not".

iF the trust is public trust then is income and expenditure may be sought for.

All the charitable trusts are invariably public trusts as per the view taken by the Supreme Court of India. Therefore you are entitled to seek information under RTIAct.
