Cheque deposit process

Hi,

We have received an order from High Court Mumbai to deposit some money in the name of Prothonotary & senior master, High Court, Mumbai.

What is the process of depositing the money ? shall we issue a cheque and send to them with a letter ? whats the address for prothonotary & Senior Master, Bombay High Court ?

Yes, you can send it by post to Prothonotary & senior master, High Court, fort, Mumbai-400001 with a covering letter and copy of order indicating the case number and that the payment is within time granted by Hon'ble Court.

Also mention in the covering letter your position in the suit, i.e., ist or second defendant etc.and the cheque number and date , amount of the cheque etc.
