Cheque dishonoured

(Querist) 27 November 2012 This query is : Resolved 
This is to inform you that i was issued a cheque of worth Rs. 2 Lacs to party for purchasing plot but he suit upon with remark that he had given me cash against above cheque, no aggrement was written. Lower court has given case against me. Now,I am in appeal in session court for the last eight month. Secondly, plantiff has also filed case for recovery. I am in fix. Please help me and tell me that what i have to do.

it is necessary to go through orders passed by trial court convicting you . . since you have already filed an appeal through your lawyer go by his advise .

section 138 NI is for punishment not recovery . complainant can also file recovery suit .

Follow instr of ur Advocate,
Compensation if directed , u must hv paid at least part of it, to admit appeal/ revision.

Case for recovery is civil procedure, so do not worry, just produce your evidences & witnesses thru ur Advocate.
