Hi All,
I am srinivas J doing practice. Sir, i am junior advocate doing practice for the past 4 years. One of my client has asked one query regarding the contesting in elections.
He has three childern's who was born after 1994. Under Section 19 (3) of APPR Act 1994, he is not eligible to contest in elections.
His brother does not have childern's so, his brother want to adopt one of my client childern.
After doing legal adoption process, whether my client is eligible to contest in general elections, showing that he has only two childern's. Although he has three childern's but has given one of his childern for adoption to his brother.
I request everyone to give a good suggestion.
Thanks & Regards,
J. Srinivas

it will be considered as an action after thought.
adoption can be done.
thereafter, file nomination and if election commission objects then fight legal battle before the court.
