Civil engineering contract is generic term. You have specify your requirements.

In a civil engineering contract you must include folowing clauses 1. Interpretation of various Terms Such as site, notice, insolvency, employer,Architects, Contractor etc. 2.Scope of the contract and time stipulation for completion 3. Variations and Extra Work 4. Drawings and schedule of quantities ( This clause shall depend upon whether it is an item rate contract/whole contract/ price contract etc.) 5. Contractor shall provided everything necessary 6. Power/lighting and water 7. Gate keeper and Watchman 8. Machine and Plants such as hoist lifts/mixers/water pumps/welding machines etc. 9.Removal of malba etc 10 Samples/Testing 11. Unrestricted access of the employer 12. Supervision and foreman 13. Clerk of works 14. dismissal or removal of any workman 15Assignment and sub-letting 16. Safety codes 17. damage to property/Insurnce 18. suspension of work 19. Contract labour laws to be followed 20 Delay and extension of time 21. Liquidated damages for non-completion or delay 22. contractor not complying Architects/employer directions 23 Measurements of work 24 Payment as the work proceeds/ Interim payments 24 Certificate of completion 25 Defects after completion 26. Termination of contract 27 Disputes settlement 28 Security Deposit 29 Escalation clause if any 30 Material/cement/steel supplies and rates incorporation of the same 31 Technical specification of the civil/electrical/sanatry work and material to be used 32. Rates of the items agreed/tender acceptance The above are clauss which generally are incorporated. Further /additional clasues can be incorporated as per necessity. Contract is to be signed by both parties
