Now my society is raising complain saying we are not allowed to do such alteration..
I wanted to know whether their stand is correct??
Please help soon as the work is pending!!
and we have no idea whether to go ahead or not

Society office bearers are generally a law unto themselves. Please ask for the exact rule which you have violated. That being the case tommorrwo they can even object to the use of CLF lights in light of T/Light. They may even object to putting chandlier in place of ceiling fan.

Internal changes for such facility cannot be denied, as it in no way come in way of other members. There is no bye-laws to support the views of Society.
